Quality cycle hire for your holiday stay in the south Charente and north Dordogne regions of France.
When you hire your cycles from us, we will deliver your bikes to your Gite, holiday home or campsite and collect them from you at the end of your stay. We will set up the bikes for your style of riding, suggest some routes you might like to explore on your pushbikes and provide you with a mobile telephone number to ring if you have any problems with your cycles, including punctures while out cycling if you wish.
Bikes4Gites is based in the area of the three small towns of Chalais, St Aulaye and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne but will deliver hire bikes free within a 30km (20mile) radius of these towns – covering an area roughly encompassed by Riberac to the east, Montmoreau to the north and La Roche Chalais to the west. Please have a look at the map of the area we cover, but if you are outside this area there may be a fee for delivery of your hire cycles.
This whole area of gently rolling countryside is honeycombed by quiet, tarmaced country roads ( and woodland paths) mostly traffic free, and is a joy to explore by bicycle. Take your hire cycles and discover the hidden treasures of this region of sunflowers,vines and ancient woodlands and discover the joy of spotting some of the abundant bird and wildlife as you go.
